I am a lifelong resident of the area.  I was born in Ware County and I have enjoyed living here with my parents and grandparents.  It is that type of community.  After finishing high school I went to Clinton, SC where I graduated from Presbyterian College with a degree in Music.  That is where I met my wife Lisa.  She is from the mountains of Brevard, NC, and so it was destiny that we should meet.  We have two daughters. Lauren is a nurse in Athens, GA and Katharine is an event planner in Birmingham, AL..  If you miss me, that is likely where I am … on the road. They are great girls and have made their parents proud.

I love our area.  I have been fortunate to have been able to live here all of my life.  It is a great area in which to live, raise a family, work, & play.  You are close to the beach, airports, city life, & the mountains.  I feel like we are close to it all.  Come and let me show you the reason I think this is a great area for you & your family.  Our hospital and medical facilities are first class plus we have Jacksonville specialists just down the road.

Real estate has allowed me through the years to be hands on with people, helping them meet their needs & desires plus answering many of their concerns as well.  The real estate industry is constantly changing.  I feel it every day.  It is a good time to get into the market.  Interest rates are still incredibly low and property values are begging an uptick. Harriet Bowman is a native Waycrossian. She married her sweetheart Clint , who is also from Waycross, and together they have three children Jeremy, James, & Jessica.  The children are all married having provided Harriet and Clint with 9 grandchildren.

Harriet is a 1976 Graduate of Ware County High School and a 1985 Graduate of Waycross College.  Harriet & her husband Clint served for 19 years in Africa with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Clint has retired from the Ware County Board of Education and is now busier than ever.  Harriet’s hobby outside of her family is bird watching, in her spare time.

Harriet was Realtor of the Year in 2019 for the Southeast Georgia Council of Realtors.  Harriet is also an Author of “Life Lessons Learned in Africa” (available on Amazon).
